Former Japanese diplomat to Australia and stayed in Canberra between December 2015 and October 2018.
Yuichi had also lived in Perth. He was there between April 1999 and October 2010, initially as an overseas student, then as a permanent resident. He worked at an international hotel there and later was employed at the Japanese Consulate.
“Life in Australia was great, but not always nice and easy. Luckily many people helped me a lot, however, not all my problems were solved. I think it is very important to know someone who is truly helpful. It is hard to find a person who can solve every problem, but it is good if you can find a person who can always advise the right direction. I hope to be that kind of helpful person.” Yuichi said.
